Wintersweet, by its name, it is naturally produced during winter, especially from December to March. It is popularly known for its scent and lovely bloom, that has yellow, cup-shaped flowers, with a purple colored center.
Winter Heaths can make a very great cover plant. It has a distinct appearance like a bell formed flowers as well, it turns out to become pink, sometimes magenta or sometimes reddish purple. The Erica Carnea and E. Darleyensis types can certainly bloom in freezing temperature points.
Flower Bulbs such as snowdrops, daffodils, snow crocus, hyacinth, tulips and cyclamen.
Honeysuckle has flowers like Lonicera x purpusii, and this is known as Winter Beauty. It features a sweet scent cream flowers around the bare branches.

Camellia Sasanqua or Christmas Camellia, has an evergreen shrub which has apple blossom type flowers. It grows up to 5 meters in elevation and its flowers are about 5-7 cm in diameter. The petals and leaves are occasionally white, and sometimes dark pink.
Oleaster can be referred to as the Russian Olive. It has small white flowers and it creates olive-like berries. A very tall evergreen shrub that may reach up to 12 feet high. Perfect for environmental places.
Hellebore, also called the Lenten Rose, generally has flowers that blooms between the months of November to March. It has deep green, evergreen leaves. The clump of bell-shaped flowers can sometimes turn into white, red, blackish, purple or green.
Growing flowers during the winter season requires a lot of patience and care. You have to select the flower seeds that can survive the cold weather condition for several months. Choose the flowers that offers lively colors to brighten up the long cool months of winter.
