Baritone Sax
Is it possible to be too small for baritone sax?
One of my friends said Ithat I was too small for baritone sax because his bigger brother plays sax and he’s ‘big.’ I’m 157cm. Is it possible to be too small to play baritone sax? Am I too small. I’m in Year 7 school BTW.
i’m about 10cm taller than you and i play barisax
i also started playing bassoon in yr 7 and i was fine. the bassoon is also quite a big instrument
the barisax does get quite heavy so you’d either need to get a backstrap or a stand
my music teacher was actually telling me the other day about this band he was conducting where there was apparently a really tiny girl playing the barisax, and from how he described her, she’s a lot shorter than you! and also he said she was a really good player
