Bassoon Orchestra Musicians

Which of these instruments should I learn next?
I want to learn an instrument that is not very popular so I can play parts that no one usually plays in my school’s band. I was just wondering, if there are any professional musicians or band directors, which instrument would be best in terms of:
-Solo performance (most opportunities)
-Cost
-Maintenance
-Importance in a band, orchestra, or ensemble (as in, which one would directors appreciate the most)
You can answer one for each category, or an overall answer. The instruments I am considering are oboe, viola, french horn, bassoon, and trombone. I am not considering difficulty at all because I’m willing to work hard in order to learn the instrument.
The instruments I already know how to play are piano, guitar, and flute.
The oboe is very nice
If you are experienced in flute playing, you wouldn’t have a problem playing the notes
However, you have to have a lot of breath for the oboe
I don’t think you’ll have a problem with it though
