Clarinet case smells bad?
My clarinet case smells terrible! Not my clarinet itself, but the case. The inside of my case has bristles in it. if it helps, my clarinet is a yamaha.

I had the same problem when I got my clarinet. The case smelled musty- almost of mildew. It doesn’t matter the source of the smell, all that matters is that it can’t be good for the clarinet. Don’t cover up the smell, remove it. Wash the inside with a damp cloth and let it dry out. If that doesn’t work, you may want to consider a new case. I got a new case from music123.com, and I loved it. I got the gator Bb clarinet case and I loved the extra room and soft outside. You may really enjoy a different case when you get one.
