Concert Band Set

How can I help set up a band’s equipment for their concert in a few months?
My friend has done it before only at his church though and the guy that taught me to play guitar for 4 years recently help set up a well known band’s equipment. The concert is in March and it’s a fairly well known band but I would like to help set up their stuff just to see what it is like and what type of gear they use. Is this something that I have to sign up for or do I just show up? What?
Contact either the band themselves or their manager. They won’t let any random person who just showed up set up expensive equipment like that.
