Easy Electronic Keyboard
Is it possible to self-teach yourself the piano? If possible, how?
I know of those electronic keyboards that sometimes have a display that simulates the keyboard as it plays, and you can play along. Is it recommendable for those who have no music background at all?
Will it be better/easier to learn the guitar first?
What should be the first steps to take if you’ld like a budget way of learning to play the piano?
Learning the guitar would be easier. However, I believe it is possible to self teach yourself the piano. It will certainly take a lot of willpower and patience. The first few things you’d have to familiarize yourself with are reading sheet music, the keys on the board, fingering, and some of the notations on the sheet music. You can search this information up on the internet or even buying a book at your local music/book store.
