Sacrifice…have they gone too far??? (note: spoilers!!)?
In the latest installment of the Legacy of the Force Star Wars books, Jacen Solo (now known as *sniff* Darth Caedus) just killed his beloved Aunt Mara Jade Skywalker! I personally think the publishers (Del Rey) AND the authors are taking the Star Wars series in a horrible direction and are making it almost a dread to read. First, they kill Chewie…then Anakin Solo…and now Mara?! How many more of our favorite characters have to die before the series ends?!
They had to kill Chewie.
The author was told he had to kill one major character… otherwise, there would be no suspense about them dying.
Chewise was the natural choice, since he couldn’t speak English.
