Favorites Beginning Piano
What is an interesting piece to play for a beginning pianist?

I am a mediocre pianist, pretty basic, and I am in need of interesting piano music. For consideration, my favorite classical pieces include Rachmaninoff’s concerto No. 3, Carmina Burana, et le Sacre du Printemps (rite of spring)
When I say that they are my favorite classical pieces, I mean I enjoy listening to them, although I am trying to play section of Rachmaninoff’s concerto no. 3.

Have you tried the Bach “Inventions”? How about the Chopin “Preludes”?

A novelty piece I always enjoyed when I first begin, and gave me a feeling of considerable accomplishment when I was finally able to perform it with ease and confidence, was Christian Sinding’s “Rustle of Spring”.

See what you think,
good luck,

Alberich
