What is the best area for living in london?
We’re a couple moving soon to London, and we’ll be studying in two universities, UCL at Camden (Next to Goodge street tube station) & and at City (Next to Liverpool street station).
We’re looking for a flat in a safe & nice neighborhood, near from major facilities (as we won’t be driving), and preferably with a river view.
Can you please help us by your experience where should we be looking for?
Camden town is colourful, and I rather liked my time in Kentish town which is next to it. It’s a place you can get cheap accommodation (by London’s standards) Nowhere is safe in London anymore. A river view will only come cheap if you are in a council run Tower block.
Accommodation near Liverpool street had best be in Hackney, Whitechapel is closer but it is the jungle.
