Flute Sheet Music

What will your child learn during keyboard lessons?
Music is technically a combination of single or multiple notes in various patterns that produce different sounds and tones. These patterns can be memorized with repetition.
Experts agree that the keyboard is the best first instrument for a child to learn. This is due to the fact, that a keyboard is a much easier instrument to learn than other musical instruments.
For example, the wind instruments like flute requires learning of the proper method for blowing across its head joint’s holes and instruments like the violin that is a kind of string instrument also requires learning and playing of the right notes, and correct usage of the bow speed and pressure. Because of these reasons most of the experts recommend a child to learn children keyboard lessons first so that he can develop a deep understanding of the music notes.
You can give your child children keyboard lessons in many ways.
First of all, you can find a perfect keyboard teacher for your child who can understand him and then teach him accordingly.
Another way is through the internet. There are a lot of tutorials online that are great helps to those wanting to learn to play an instrument. You can motivate your child to learn to play by ear. This can further help your child to have healthy skills and this also helps in developing your child’s brain.
By undertaking the lessons, the child develops an ability to read the music and how to do sight-reading. He learns this important skill that enables him to accurately play a piece he has never seen before. These lessons will help develop creativity in your child and stimulate not just his physical body but also his intellect.
Through the keyboard lessons he can now distinguish easily between the black and white keys that earlier were confusing for him.
He is taught correctly that the white keys correspond to the normal notes while the black keys are assigned to the accidentals. The piano lessons will also introduce the musical alphabets. The notes from A to G then become familiar for him. He is made aware, mostly visually, that the accidentals are the notes on the black keys.
When the lessons are just starting out the black keys are normally not used very often.
Generally the first lessons are kept very simple and during them the children are taught how to start off by making them understand the proper hand position and proper body posture.
This generally includes sitting straight or leaning forward slightly. Fingers are advised to be always in a relaxed and natural position when playing. The thumb has to be curled slightly inwards so that they can be parallel to the hand.
Next, they are taught about basic scales on the keyboard.
At this stage, the children will recognize the C scale as the most basic and most commonly used. Immediately, they will memorize the correct position of C, which is the key to the left of 2 consecutive black keys. Following this, the lesson progresses to the exercise on using the right thumb, the index finger and the middle finger and will continue on to the next octave. A complete major lesson on full C scale is given.
Next lesson is about how to acquire finger dexterity.
One exercise that the children will be made to do to accomplish this, is to play a scale with just one hand. In early classes sheet music is not included. They are encouraged to play a theme of their favorite TV show on their keyboard. It helps them to play the melody by just simply listening.
Finally, they will be tasked with reading sheet music and playing their pieces.
Through the lessons, children learn to keep up with the notes and identify which are being played at a given time. All the keyboard lessons make use of the memory process pattern. The process begins with the eyes reading the pattern notes in the music sheet, then relaying this information to the brain for processing. The brain, in turn, will give the appropriate instructions to the fingers.
