LG AG S100 3D Glasses, Geek Chic Or Fashion Disaster?
Ever since Avatar introduced the masses to 3D in the cinema, people have wanted the same technology in their own homes.
Are you bowled over by 3DTV? If so, you won’t have failed to notice that 3D TV sets are now in electrical shops up and down the country. There’s not much use in having a 3dtv without something to watch… which means you’ll need some kind of 3d ready player and some source material. Most people will use either a 3d-ready blu-ray player like the playstation 3, or a digital box such as the one from Sky.
If you’re into games, the Playstation 3 can handle 3d blu ray as well as play some 3d games and would be your best choice To complete the list of things you’ll need to enjoy 3dtv, you’ll have to include 3d glasses. At the moment, the glasses are tied to the manufacturer’s 3dtv, so Samsung’s won’t work with a Panasonic TV and LG AG S100 will only work with a LG 3dtv. Be careful that you don’t expect a set of glasses for each member of your family when you buy the tv set… you could be in for a shock as some manufacturers don’t include any.
The 3d glasses are required to see the 3d effects on a 3dtv. The glasses block the light to one eye then the other, sequentially, so that you only see one image for your right eye and one for your left. Your brain stitches the images from the eyes together into a 3D perspective.
