What Is A Good Song To Sing From Annie Get Your Gun?
Hi! I really like this musical and for my school’s musical next year, I would like to sing a piece from Annie Get Your Gun. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I can sing relatively high and yeah. 
Correction: the title is “I Got the Sun in the Morning” and it’s a good song, as is the other suggestion
Other songs from the musical to try is “Doin’ What Comes Naturally”. This and “You Can’t Get a Man With a Gun” is an opportunity to show off your acting skills. Some beautiful ballads from the show, “I Got Lost in His Arms”, “They Say It’s Wonderful”, and the lesser known “Moonshine Lullaby”.
“Moonshine Lullaby ” might be a good piece because it takes some vocal skills to pull it off. It isn’t particularly high in range, but there is some tricky intervals that can really wow the people at the audition if you can sing them well. It is also a song that I doubt many other girls would think of and this could make you more memorable. If you could find the Bernadette Peters recording in the 1999 Broadway Revival this might help. There were versions on YouTube, but the melody was often badly distorted by over “twanging”.
