Jazz First Year

Is replacing carlos boozer with al jefferson an upgrade or downgrade for the jazz?
carlos boozer did average 2 more points a game last year the big al, but i think jefferson will play better with a team where he doesn’t have to carry the entire workload. Plus boozer will be getting paid around 16 million a year in chicago which would be alot for the jazz. Overall I would say the first year or two it probably will be a downgrade.
Agreed. In the present it is certainly a downgrade from Boozer, but now the Jazz have a solid core of Deron Williams and Al Jefferson to build around for years to come. They wont be competing for championships in the next couple years, but put a few solid role players beside them and they are a legit championship contender. Overall, now it is a downgrade, but it could potentially be an upgrade in the future.
