Best way to use selmer key oil on clarinet?
Is it best to dab at the areas where metal touches metal but not to touch the pads with it or let it drip or let it touch the wood? Trying to get old Clarinet up to scratch to learn on!!!

Use a toothpick – small end – to put a drop of oil on the ends of the rods which hold keys that move. Use tissue to dry any oil that gets onto the wood – to prevent dust gatherihg there. Oil doesn’t hurt the wood since it is oiled to seal it from moisture anyway.
