Never Underestimate The Power Of The Girl’s Night In
Being a boy must be boring, because they do not usually get to have pamper sessions and use every beauty product in their cupboards. Being a girl is fun, never forget it, and indulging yourself in a little pamper session every now and again is also a fantastic stress release.
If you are feeling tense, down or fatigued a great pick me up is to plan a girl’s night in for yourself. This is an evening that is all about you, your bath tub and a date with your preferred form of entertainment.
The best way to start your pamper session is to run a steaming hot bath as soon as you get home from work. Soak yourself in the water that has been fragranced by bath salts, bombs, oils or other divine smelly stuff. Sink into the water and sit back to listen to something relaxing on your stereo or sneak in the latest guilty pleasure gossip mag.
After you have finished your bath and patted yourself dry you should give yourself a deluxe skincare routine. Cleanse your skin thoroughly, tone and moisturize. Massage the moisturizer into your face to get the skin cells stimulated and improve circulation. Then apply the best eye cream you can get your hands on and dab it around the eye area.
Next cover your body in a beautiful body lotions and again massage in the lotion around your thighs in order to destress and help break up cellulite. Then finish it all off with a spritz of your favorite eau de parfum spray. Perfumes should not just be reserved for special occasions.
After that retire to your bedroom and slip into your comfiest or nicest sleepwear. The final step in your personal pamper session is settling into your bed (replete with fresh sheets) and get stuck into the latest book you have sitting on your bedside table. If reading is not your thing, then pop on a video and settle back to chill out with it.
Now your version of the perfect girl’s night in might be a little different to this, but something akin to the described night is probably as close to heaven as many women can get. This is a low cost and super effective way to wrinkle out your stress and restore your spirits. Planning to have a night like this at least every two weeks is an ideal way to indulge yourself without breaking the bank.
