What is the best lullaby CD to put a baby to sleep?
I have a 4 month old boy who has a problem falling asleep on his own and staying asleep during naps. When I sing to him he falls asleep, but the moment I stop he wakes up! I want to buy a lullaby CD, but can only afford to buy one or two. What is the best lullaby CD to put a baby to sleep?
By the way, he doesn’t fall asleep when my husband sings to him. In other words, he seems to respond best to my medium-high female voice.
I found a CD called Night Night by Everland Kids (got it from iTunes). It has nice, soft lullabies for babies. Some of the songs with kids singing are annoying (to me, my daughter doesn’t seem to mind, lol!) but there are some nice instrumental songs. You could also try soothing classical music.
What you could do is buy maybe 3 or 4 songs (so only $3-4.00) from iTunes and then burn them to a CD and press repeat on your CD player. Your baby won’t notice if it’s the same 3 or 4 songs playing over and over.
