hey im a musician and im looking to buy myself a new alto jazz mouthpeice.?
im thinkin metal but im not sure. my budget is about 250$ or so. ive played the sax 7 years and i need a way better piece. advice and suggestions would help
A good place to start is a Meyer 6M hard rubber…good for big band and bebop oriented jazz..and can still be used in concert band settings…remember that a mouthpiece is only a way to help you be comfortable with playing your horn, producing the sound that you want to hear…if you don’t have a good concept of what you want to sound like, no mouthpiece is going to help you…so at this point I heartily recommend the Meyers
