What year was Miles Davis’ album B*tches Brew released in?
I am getting mixed answers- Allmusic says 1969, Wikipedia says 1970 and eveyone in between says one of the two.
Does anybody know for sure what year the Miles Davis album B*tches Brew was released? Please indicate your source (if it’s from AllMusic or Wikipedia it won’t be helpful), especially people who may have the album or was around when it was released would be helpful!

here’s your answer: the album proper (“Pharoah’s Dance, “Bitches Brew,” “Spanish Key,” “John McLaughlin,” “Miles Runs The Voodoo Down,” and “Sanctuary,” and not the additional non-original-lp material on the somewhat deceptively named “Complete” box set) was recorded in August of 1969, on the 19th, 20th, and 21st of the month, with its release happening the following year, 1970, in the late spring.
