Movie Instrumental Solos
Have you used the voice canceling songs in a performance?
In order to get the “instrumental” or “karaoke” version of a song that I need, I did the vocal removal through Adobe Audition 3.0. Obviously there is a little bit of a vocal in the background, and I need this song for a performance I’m doing. (And there is no instrumental of this particular version, I’ve looked EVERYWHERE).
I was wondering if anyone else has used this technique and performed. I was thinking the mic and my voice would drown out the small vocal in the background but I wanted to make sure.

BTW: I’m doing Big Blonde and Beautiful for my performance and I want the movie version by Queen Latifah because it’s a solo. :]
I have never tried that program, but I have tried using a track i got from someone else that had a hint of the vocals still on it. I don’t think anyone noticed but me, but it bugged the crap outta me and i never used that track again. If you sing good and loud, and match that voice in the background no one will probably notice.
