I’ve written many music lyrics. How do I get those published and given to big artists.?
I know music publishers connect stars with lyrics but how do you get your lyrics to the publishers? I have some pretty good lyrics. Does that mail in program in the magazines work by any chance? I really want my work seen because the words are sooo good! Plz help!
There’s no easy way to fame sadly. I would recommend you sending your lyrics to a literary magazine, such as Stone Soup. If chosen, you will receive a sizable monetary prize, and also the possiblity that some producer may thumb through and see your work!
Magazine mail in programs aren’t usually more effective than simple contests. Don’t waste precious time.
My close friend Jimmy (Robbins) recently got signed to Colombia Records (!) this past summer. He’s 16, and was discovered because he had a purevolume site. His lyrics were fab, though his voice sucked, and he was discovered. I would suggest this route since it worked for him.
