Music Pretty Cover
Would an ankle tattoo be okay for a music teacher?
I’ve been thinking of getting the “one ring” text on my ankle from Lord of the Rings for many years now. As many of you know, it’s a very pretty and elegant text. I’m also on my way of becoming a music teacher. Do you think this would be a bad place to get it? Yes, pants would cover up most of the time but I’m mostly concerned about sandal days. Remember this is also music education – a less strict environment where kids are basically distracted by their instruments from start to finish. Any opinions?
I teach elementary school. I have a tattoo on the top of my foot that is kind of big and I use I band aids when I need to cover it for professional situations.
I believe that once you are established in a school system you can find out of from other teachers and your principal what is appropriate.
Otherwise, go for it. It is easy to cover even if it isn’t allowed.
