Do you miss the music of your youth?
I recently bought a CD of Classic Love Songs. Eartha Kitt, Vic Damone, John Gary, Jaye P. Morgan, the Ames Brothers and many more. It brought back fond memories and depresses me that the young don’t always appreciate this kind of music. (Some do) The so-called music today is so, weird, strange, violent, nasty, loud and boring.
I guess every generation goes thru this but I can’t imagine the youth of today saying, “Gee, I miss the rap songs of my youth” when they are in their sixties.
Your thoughts and thank you.
Boy do I ever. The crap they listen to today is not music. It is just a bunch of noise.
“On the Street Where You Live” Vic Damone
