Where can I find old Piano Music Books?
Im looking for a certain book of piano music thats copyrighted in 1980. Ive been looking all over the internet and havent found it anywhere. Im particularly looking for The Readers Digest Family Music Book: Great Music Greatest Hits 97 Unforgettable Classics for Piano and Organ. Ive looked on the readers digest website and they dont have it. where can I find old piano books?
Some of us don’t think the 80s were all that long ago; arrrgh aging is a terrible thing to do.
The RD books would’ve gone through one printing. They’re not going to keep old stock around, so that’s a bust. These things regularly turn up at Goodwill or Salvation Army thrift stores … but that’s a lot of effort on your part to go back every day for the next 20 years.
You could try Amazon … there are 28 copies (Reader’s Digest Family Songbook by Reader’s Digest Editors and Dan Fox (Spiral-bound – Jul 1, 1981)) available right now.
You could also try Powell’s Books from Portland, OR … they’ve got everything, and if they don’t have it, they’ll find it.
