Can a bass melody in a piece be written in treble clef?
If I have a few instruments, can the instrument that is playing the bass part be notated in treble clef? or must there be a line notated in bass clef as well?
Well, yeah. Any piece can be written and played in any clef. If the person can play it or not depends on how advanced they are and their ability to transpose in their head.
