Why am I always way ahead on my piano Theory books?
I have been playing for two years and I am on Level 4. With each level, I always fly through my Theory books much faster than my Piano or Technique lesson books. I had a friend who has played piano for many years, but cannot get through a Theory book — but then again he has a hard time reading music, whereas my piano teacher says I pick up reading music very well. Could that have something to do with it?
some people are naturally good at music, and yeah like you said, sometimes the main issue is the reading of the music because its like reading another language
