Piano Solo Book
April 25th, 2010

What are some good piano books for theory and technique?
When I was younger I had the full set for each level, with lesson book, recital book, theory book, and technique book, but I’ve been out of those for a while and now I just study by learning and playing solo pieces. I’d like to get better at piano now that I don’t take lessons anymore, and want to expand my library and learn more. I have the FGH classic scale book and the complete set of Hanon exercises already, if that helps.
I would’ve suggested Hanon, though you already have it. For theory, Fundamentals of Piano Theory by Keith Snell and Martha Ashleigh.
