MUSIC HELP: was the song Pie Jesu from Requiem, originally written for two women or a man and a woman to sing?
The song is from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s show Requiem. I don’t know if it’s a duet for two women or a man and a woman or two men, or how it was originally intended. HELP!
It was originally made as a motet, which is a type of choral composition. In this case, it’s up to the director to choose the voices.
