What is a good way to soften [break in] reeds?
i need to break in my [clarinet reed size 3 and 3 1/2] reeds.
i try soaking them in water, keeping them in my mouth…
are there other ways?
those are the only ways i know of, and the only methods i used when i played clarinet. couldn’t find any other suggestions on the web, but i did find these…they don’t need to be softened and last longer than cane reeds. it’s worth checking out i think! good luck!
