Royal Tenor

How can i get enough help within a year or two to pass a grade 5 ABRSM music exam? ?
Hi I am 17 and currently residing in Barbados, I recently started playing both electric and acoustic guitar and singing tenor in a choir, but now that I have decided to take my talents a step further I realised that to qualify to learn music at most colleges at least a pass at grade 5 music from The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music is needed, fortunately a pass at previous grades is not required to sit a grade 5 exam, and i am fairly familiar with music theory but probably only up to grade 2, now I know this sounds like a lot of cramming and maybe even impossible but I desperately need to know how i can learn enough to pass within a period of at least 10months to 2years.
Hey!
I passed my Grade 5 Violin exam in 2007 and I am going to sit the Grade 8 Violin exam next April.
Even though we play different instruments, here is some general advice:
If you enjoy music, then you will do fine. Make sure you practice all your scales very well. and also do sightreading/aural with your teacher regularly. The Grade 5 pieces are generally quite easy and straightforward so starting learning them at least 6 months before. Oh you would also need a piano accompanist for ABRSM. And listen to lots of classical music too!
Good Luck! And tell me how you go !!
