Is it possible to replace a set of taps and the plug insert?
I have a brass set of taps and a matching brass plug insert in my bathroom sink. Is it possible to remove these and put in a new set?
The brass looks dated and I want a chrome finish instead. How do you get the old taps off and the plug insert out without damaging the sink?
There will be a large nut on the underside of the taps and the plug hole. Undo these with a wrench and then gently tap them with a hammer to free them.
You can then replace them.
