Increase The Subscribers To Your Blogs RSS Feed.
It’s very possible to come up with a multitude of ways to increase subscriber numbers to your blog, but you may want to think a little outside the square for ways to leverage your readers into becoming RSS feed subscribers. This article will discuss some ways to help you increase your RSS feed subscriber numbers.
Create a Series of Blog Posts: Those people who visit blogs tend to do so in order to access information and knowledge they know they can’t access on other blogs or sites. It makes no difference which niche your blog is in, as your readers will all need a very compelling reason to consider signing up for your RSS feed, or a reason to want to find out about when you post your next update. Some of the more well-known blogs are renowned for releasing posts that run in a series, that are also often interlinked to one another. Your readers will immediately know you have plenty of information to offer, so they’ll want to come back to learn the rest of what you have to say. Releasing a series of blog posts that follow on from the last, your readers start to anticipate what else you’ll offer. If you do this the right way, you’ll see results. People will start signing up to your RSS feed so they can find out when the next post in your series will be released.
Take Advantage of an Existing Audience: if you have other blogs that are well established why not leverage those audiences to get more subscribers to your blog? You can actually do a lot of cross promotion if you’ve got other platforms to leverage that you’ve already worked on building an audience.
It is even better if that audience actually relates to your current blog. There are many such opportunities we miss just because of lack of focus. Try to look around and see if there is any other source that you can use to make your existing audience familiar with your blog’s content and what it has to offer.
Show Testimonials on Your Opt-in Page: Many webmasters make the mistake of only having a subscription sign up form on their opt-in page. This page can be a great opportunity to show new readers your testimonials. Make them feel good about subscribing to your blog and the benefits of staying updated. If you don’t have this kind of feedback yet, send a message out to existing subscribers and ask them to leave their thoughts on your recent posts. You can also go back through previous posts and see if you can find any positive comments left on those that you can use.
Any blog owner who is serious about succeeding should make focusing on increased numbers of RSS subscribers in order to achieve that goal.
