WWI Songs for Violin?
I am doing this magazine project at my school about the U.S entering as allies for WWI.
I want to include a CD created by me, and my friends.
I play the violin, and I need some songs I can play (preferably with music sheets), or at least just song names that represent WWI.

I can’t think of a SINGLE violin song from WW1. Most of the songs were mixed chorus… OVER THERE and WHEN JOHNNY COMES MARCHING HOME… were biggies.. LILLY MARLAINE is the ONE song I associate with WW1 and it’s a female solo. If you think violin music was a big thing in WW1 then you must have watched that movie LT. CORELLI’S MANDOLIN which was more love story than historically accurate.
Is there some reason you couldn’t just go to GOOGLE and enter WW 1 MUSIC like I just did so you could get the same TWO MILLION SIX HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSANDS hits (2,650,000) that I just got with a 15 SECOND SEARCH ON GOOGLE
GOOGLE is an excellent REFERENCE for FACTS like WW 1 MUSIC.. so have any average 5th grader show you how to use it to look things up..
