Small Ork
I’m looking to collect a third Warhammer 40k army, suggestions?
I already own an Ork army, and an Eldar army, and I’m very strategic/tactical when i play, i think about everything before I move a figure/squad every turn, and I prefer large armies of rubbish figures, to small armies of great figures. I want to collect either Chaos, Tau, or Necron, which do you suggest, also for the best price for a large army?
We if you like strategic thinking you should really consider a Tau army, the have a wide diversity of models and can be tactically flexible or built around a certain play style.
If you do choose Tau you should be prepared to loose you first few games as there play style is a very hard one to grasp but when you get good you will really be able to appreciate the feeling when a well played move turns out for the better.
As for price Tau army’s are not very expensive as they have few metal models. Again if you wanted a large army of weak units you could go for a Kroot based army, at 7pts each and equipped with a gun equal to a bolter and a 3+ cover save in woods they are really fun to play. On the other hand you could play and elite force of just Battlesuits and a few fire warriors, battlesuits are brilliant because they are so customisable.
