Could you tell me something about that composer of the series, “The Joy of Music”?
She creates beautiful music solo or with some performers. I saw her once in an EWTN music special. Who is she? Is she an American?
The Kansas born organist and composer Diane Bish is an internationally known artist. She is well known for her innovative television series “The Joy of Music.” She has recorded some 400 television episodes in her PBS series ” The Joy of Music” on many of the world’s most significant pipe organs. Miss Bish graduated from Wichita High School East in 1959. She had played on the 1925 Austin Organ installed in the school auditorium.
Diane Joyce Bish was born on May 24, 1941, in Kansas.
