Tenor Saxophone

Can I get the difference between soprano and tenor saxophone?
I’m planning to buy a good set of saxophones. my guru said to take tenor saxophone but i like the style of soprano saxophone, so can i know get some genuine person to answer my question.
Have you played saxophone in the past? Just go with the tenor, people enjoy it a lot more and the soprano can be very hard and annoying with playing the high notes in tune. Besides there’s a lot more great tenor players out there anyway.. The tenor saxophone IS jazz haha
