How do i play trumpet painlessly with braces?
I always have a hard time playing the trumpet with braces because it tears up my lip. Tips? Suggestions? things to use? Please?
Yes. I’m a music major and in brass education class (on how to teach brass instruments to public school kids) they said when students have discomfort with trumpet mouthpieces because of braces, go to the music shop ( or online) and buy the next size up. It wont be as tight and compressing on your mouth that way.
Also, break your practice time up into sections. Dont play for hours on end.
