What song should I audition with?
So in a few weeks I’m going to be auditioning for a solo at my school’s performing arts festival, and I was asked to audition with my ukulele, but I really need an awesome song to audition with (or play for the festival if i get the solo).
Any ideas for ukulele/vocal songs that will knock their socks off?
I taught myself the glee version of ‘somewhere over the rainbow’ over the christmas holidays, but it’s a duet, and it might sound weird if i attempt it alone…
Either tweak ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ so it works as a solo, or you could do ‘I’m Yours’ by Jason Mraz or ‘Dream Catch Me’ by Newton Faulkner.
