Violin School Volume

Please help???
There’s this Grade 8 band that you can only join if you’ve had 2 years of experience, or played in beginner and/or intermediate band for two years, but I have never joined any band before in my life at school! However, I HAVE played the violin for two and a half years, but I also quit for 2 and a half years, but I have taken a very sudden, big interest in it, and I have been playing some music. However, I don’t know if I’m high enough level yet. To those people who’s played the violin for 2 (and a half) years, or around that time, what would you expect to play? Right now I can play some songs in Suzuki Violin School, Violin Part Volume 4 and 5. Perhaps maybe write down a link which leads to a piece which one should assume someone like me should be able to play given my 2 and a half year experience? Thanks in advance!
i would advise you to repost this in the music section, since more violin players and people equipped to answer your question will see it. good luck.
